Nicole's West Coast Style?
“My West Coast style is soft and natural, rich in texture, use of strong classics with an element of surprise, edited accessories and always comfortable. I tend to bring inspiration from the outdoors in to my spaces.”
"West Coast style in my mind is defined as clean, relaxed, effortless and chic."
Why Does She Love Shopping Las Vegas Market?
"I love to be able to see and feel products from the lines I use often, and see their new introductions. And I love the search for new lines and artists, the discovery aspect is what always inspires me."
Her Favorite Market Find?
"Some of the artwork I have hanging in my home and my office. I met the artist on my first market trip, and then again on the next, I knew I needed to have some of his work!"

Trends She's Eyeing at Market?
“Unearthed and handmade products that will stand out in a space. I love the beauty of imperfection and think consumers are appreciating that too. It is always nice to feel like a piece in your home is distinctly unique. I am always on the hunt for great lighting–new and vintage. I love to use beautiful lighting in my spaces. I also love finding vintage textiles to bring back for clients. These can be used as a blanket, made into pillows, or framed as art. I hope to discover more new to me furniture, textiles and rug showrooms that I can add to my list of vendors. A successful trip to market has me walk away feeling inspired by product, colors, and fellow designers.”
Favorite Places to Stay and Dine in Las Vegas?
“I love to drive up and stay in a great hotel with a close girlfriend of mine who is also a designer. We try a new hotel and different restaurants each time. It is a huge part of my market trip experience–every time I have learned something new and we find strength, motivation and encouragement in each other’s stories and know-how. Favorite restaurant…anywhere fun and tasty by the end of a long day at market!”
Her Market Shopping Tips?
“First and most important – wear comfortable shoes! Then, start at the vintage and one-of-a-kind shops usually located in the tents (The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market). The good stuff goes quick!”
