The award highlights the achievements of exemplary design and architectural professionals and offers Las Vegas Market attendees an opportunity to connect with and learn firsthand from living legends.

2018 Frank Gehry
Internationally acclaimed architect Frank Gehry is head of Gehry Partners, a full-service firm with broad international experience in academic, commercial, museum, performance and residential projects, and is considered “architectural royalty” throughout the world. Gehry has redefined architecture in numerous cities across the globe and continues to shape contemporary commercial and residential landscapes.
2017 Timothy Corrigan
Corrigan’s global design philosophy combines European elegance with California comfort. He has been hailed in Architectural Digest as “Today’s Tastemaker” and has been named to most of the design world’s best designer lists, including the AD100, Robb Report’s Top 40 and the Luxe Gold List.
2016 Thomas Pheasant
Pheasant is recognized internationally for his interior designs and furniture collections. Pheasant was honored by Architectural Digest in 2005 with the distinction “Dean of American Design,” and he is a fixture on the AD100, the annual list of top architects and designers compiled by the magazine.
2015 Carleton Varney
Varney is president of New York-based Dorothy Draper & Co. Inc., one of the oldest established interior design firms in the United States. His design philosophy, much like Dorothy Draper’s, stresses the use of bright colors and the rejection of all that is impractical, uncomfortable and drab.
2014 Barbara Barry
Barry is an interior designer and author with a vision of infusing simple luxuries into everyday life. She is renowned for creating refined interiors, timeless furnishings and luxury products.
2013 Alexa Hampton
Hampton is president and featured designer of Mark Hampton LLC. She is known for her classic, traditional and electric work, reflected in her interior design projects, as well as, several licensed collections.
2012 Jamie Drake
Drake is head of Drake Design Associates, which offers decorating, construction design and managing planning services. Drake’s acknowledgements include the IFDA New York Circle of Excellence for Interior Design and the Andrew Martin International Designer of the Year.
2011 Christopher Guy Harrison
Christopher Guy is the founder and head designer of international furnishings brand Christopher Guy. He is an internationally renowned designer whose designs blend glamorous lines with traditional craftsmanship, creating a unique signature aesthetic.
2010 Juan Montoya
Montoya is an acclaimed interior designer known for his qualities of space and scale. He is consistently named in the AD100 and is represented in the Interior Design Hall of Fame.
2009 Summer Market - Vicente Wolf
Wolf is a designer and author based in New York. He is at the helm of two companies: Vicente Wolf Associates and VW Home by Vicente Wolf. Wolf is best known for his clear, restrained and stylish aesthetic.
2009 Winter Market - Roger Thomas
Thomas, Founder of The Roger Thomas Collection and Executive Vice President of Wynn Design & Development is one of the world’s foremost hospitality designers. Consistently named in the AD100, he is based in Las Vegas and finds much of his inspiration from other cultures.
2008 Summer Market - Larry Laslo
Laslo is known for creating luxurious interior landscapes. His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, House & Garden, Vogue, Elle Décor, Vanity Fair, Town & Country, Veranda and W.
2008 Winter Market - Vladimir Kagan
Kagan was a furniture designer who helped launch Design Icon. He was inducted in the Interior Designer Hall of Fame in 2009 and passed away in April 2016.
