Beatriz Ball Supports Autism Awareness

New Orleans, LA ---Beatriz Ball’s youngest grandchild Bo inspired the company to adopt Autism Awareness as a corporate cause. He was diagnosed as a 3 year old boy. Bo is now 7 and started kindergarten this year at a charter school in New Orleans.  He spends part of his day in the regular class room and the other with his Special Education teacher.

Bo is thriving at school and was making great progress up until March 13th, when all schools in Louisiana were closed for the foreseeable future, because of the COVID-19 virus.  Regression for children like Bo can happen very quickly when they are out of a regular routine and not receiving their regular therapies.  His parents are very thankful for the people who dedicate their lives to teaching and caring for children like Bo and for organizations which help create more public awareness about autism.

Beatriz Ball donates 100% of the profits from the sales of two items to Autism Speaks which is the largest autism advocacy organization in the United Sates. One is an Autism Awareness ornament and the other an Autism Awareness keychain.

Beatriz Ball wants to honor and support the millions of individuals and families in the autism community. April is the World Autism Month and on April 2nd many landmarks around the world will light up blue, for autism awareness.
