First Look Summer 2018: CELEBRATE!
Whether you’re sourcing for spring and Easter merchandise or gearing up for the back-to-back bustle of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, Las Vegas Market appeals to buyers at all stages of holiday and seasonal stocking. CELEBRATE!, one of four FIRST LOOK vignettes on display July 29-Aug. 2 in the Grand Plaza Courtyard, will present a full calendar year of holiday merchandise and gifts, as well as on-trend accent furniture and decorative accessories.
Featured brands in CELEBRATE! will include Las Vegas Market newcomer Rustic Marlin, a line attendees will find in the Sales Producers showroom. The company specializes in customizable wood placards, signs and trays handcrafted in Hanover, MA. Rustic Marlin keeps its minimums low for the benefit of independent retailers.
Paper placemats and table runners are a specialty of Hester & Cook — FIRST LOOK will show new Christmas designs from this Building C tenant. Look for gingerbread, forest animals and snow globe motifs, each illustrated with a decidedly vintage vibe.
New greeting card designs from Good Paper will be on display, too. Featured in last season’s Storytellers vignette, the company returns this summer to CELEBRATE! with new handcrafted birthday, baby shower and “just because” cards.
Speaking of birthdays, gift packaging and decorations will feature prominently in FIRST LOOK’s holiday/seasonal vignette. Casual Panache’s new Can-O-Grams gift sets, for example, hold small-ish gifts in keepsake metal cans.
Seasonal fragrances run the gamut in the Grace Direct showroom — within the Willowbrook brand, winter holidays are at the fore. Experience citrus, cinnamon and clove in Grateful, Thankful, Blessed; apple, leafy greens and cinnamon notes in the new Apple Pickin’ scent; and vanilla, sugared pear and cinnamon in Penguins.
Look for cute and clever in CELEBRATE! this summer. Cute Laces’ plaid shoelaces and Doodle Pants’ holiday leggings are just two examples that will make viewers “ooh and ahh.”
Meanwhile, supporting players in the vignette will include accent furniture from New Pacific Direct, Manhattan Comfort, Meridian Furniture and more, as well as new SKUs from Pacific Coast Lighting and CAL Lighting.
