Bold Expectations and Excitement High for April Las Vegas Market
LAS VEGAS, N.V. – (April 7, 2021) – Las Vegas Market will offer West Coast buyers and designers a dynamic sourcing opportunity from April 11 – April 15, highlighted by the opening of 80% of its furniture, home décor and gift showrooms and the much-anticipated return of its gift and home temporary exhibits, staged for the first time in the brand-new Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas (WMCLV).
“After shifting our market dates from January to April due to Nevada state health and safety restrictions, all signs are pointing to a strong Las Vegas Market,” said Bob Maricich, International Market Centers’ (IMC) CEO. “As the industry continues to recover, the West Coast’s leading home and gift market is prepared to amplify those efforts with a robust presentation of cross-category resources that will meet every buyer’s needs.”
Gift and Home Temporaries Return to Las Vegas Market in New Venue
The Las Vegas Market temporary exhibits mark two key developments this April: their return after a hiatus last summer and their first staging in the all-new Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas. The Expo at WMCLV, which is being utilized for the first time since its completion in July 2020, features an easy-to-walk and efficient-to-navigate layout that is contiguous with Building C. Operating as the gateway to the campus, the new 315,000-square-foot facility allows for a continuous flow of traffic between the market’s temporary exhibits and permanent showrooms.
The Expo at WMCLV will present 200+ new and established gift and home décor resources in six updated destinations – Gift, Design, Handmade, Home, Immediate Delivery and Luxe – and feature an assortment of notable resources across the gift and home spectrum, including albert L. (punkt), Inc.; Amara Rugs; Ann Gish; Eric Silva; Glory Wisdom Corp; Handbag Handcuff; Hobo Bags; Johnny Was; Shima-Peace Waters; Solido Furniture; Turkish Towel Collection; and Verona Prive Maison.
“The gift and home temporary exhibits are always a key source of discovery at Las Vegas Market and this April will be no different,” Maricich said. “The temporaries’ much-anticipated return coupled with the debut staging in our state-of-the-art exposition facility will create a can’t-miss shopping opportunity for buyers and designers.”
Furniture, Home Décor and Gift Showroom Offerings Grow
April Market will feature 16 new, relocating and expanding showrooms – 13 for furniture and home décor and three for gift – among its 4,300 total resources. With these updates, Las Vegas Market presents more than 2,000 furniture lines on 31 floors in Buildings A and B, 2,000+ gift resources on seven floors in Building C and more than 500 home décor resources on 13 floors in Buildings A, B and C. New, relocating and expanding exhibitors include manufacturers and representative groups: E.S. Kluft & Company; Furniture Classics; Noble House Home Furnishings; Katie Loxton; Lazy One; Lenasi; Lifestyle Solutions; MLILY USA; Orchids Lux Home; O.W. Lee; Road Runners; Roberto Grassie; Telescope Casual Furniture; Three Birds Casual; Troels Denmark; and ZUO.
Maricich noted, “These leasing gains are in line with strong buyer pre-registration activity and we’re excited to get Las Vegas Market – as well as the industry-at-large – back to business.”
