First Look Summer 2019: 2020 Vision
Las Vegas Market’s trends and products program is future-focused for Summer Market, July 28-Aug. 1. “First Look: 2020 Vision” will present timely hues, timeless decorating styles, colorful merchandising ideas and, of course, product debuts in a series of new custom-built displays.
First Look will advance two broad themes at the cusp of a new decade — easy sophistication and personal expression — as told in compelling presentations of maximalist styling, color drenching, outdoor decorating, and city dwelling.
Color figures prominently in this season’s First Look program — editor and curator Julie Smith Vincenti will present a 10-color palette that includes a purple-cast gray like PANTONE’s Sea Fog 16-3304; glowing pastels that make color drenching a breeze; island living-inspired blues and greens that travel coast to coast with great ease; and an energetic pink, upbeat yellow and pink-kissed orange.
Modway’s Viola Chesterfield tufted settee in teal; artisanal wall decor that’s both colorful and tactile from Loloi; Geography glasses from Cat Studio; and color-tipped Safety Matches from Made Market Co. are among the nearly 140 curated products to be featured in First Look this summer.
Attendees can pick up copies of the publication at any World Market Center building entrance. The First Look CEU-accredited seminar will take place Monday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. in WorldView on Sixteen in Building B.
