Yankee Candle’s Harlan Kent to Detail His “Undercover Boss” Experience
LAS VEGAS—Tuesday, December 4, 2012— Five days of retailer-oriented seminars and special programs will be among the highlights of Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market, January 28-February 1, 2013. Educational seminars will address trends, design, social media and business-building marketing strategies, as well as feature a special presentation from the CEO of Yankee Candle.

A highlight of the schedule is a presentation by Harlan Kent, President & CEO of Yankee Candle, on Wednesday, January 30. During “Going Undercover, And What I Learned,” Kent will share experiences and insights from his participation in the Emmy Award-winning CBS television show “Undercover Boss.” Offering lessons applicable for all businesses, he will describe what he learned from observing his company from the perspective of a front line worker. In addition, Kent will discuss the key ingredients for a successful business including customer service and brand awareness in this exclusive appearance.
